The most efficient way to store and share video footage is through a service called Dropbox.

Dropbox is a FREE service that allows you to seemlessly share files of any type with The Atlanta Equine Clinic. By using Dropbox, we avoid the typical size restrictions that most servers impose when sending video footage through email communications.

Click HERE to install Dropbox onto your computer.

The Atlanta Equine Clinic will provide your Dropbox with an extra 500 MB of bonus space when you sign up.

After you install Dropbox on your computer, a Dropbox folder is created. The Dropbox menu bar icon is located on the bottom (Windows) or top (Mac/Linux) of your screen, and lets you check the status and settings of your Dropbox.

Clicking on this icon allows you to open your DropBox folder, into which you can simply drag your video file(s). Any file saved to your Dropbox will also automatically save to all your computers, phones, and even the Dropbox website.

From your DropBox folder, you can easily share your video(s) with The Atlanta Equine Clinic.

Click on the Dropbox icon to launch the Dropbox website. When you log in, your files will be waiting for you. Click the "Sharing" from the sidebar on the left of the window. Once the Sharing page appears, click on the blue button named "New shared folder". Follow the instructions to create your folder. Please title the folder as follows: Horse's Name/ Client's Last Name (for example: "Spirit/Smith").

Invite as a collaborator. The shared folder will then automatically appear within the Dropbox account of The Atlanta Equine Clinic.

When submitting images or video footage, simply access the shared folder directly via the Dropbox icon on your computer screen. Drag your file(s) into the shared folder.

Once in the shared folder, the image(s) will automatically load into The Atlanta Equine Tec software and await analysis by our team.
