As
the receptionist of The Atlanta Equine Clinic, Pam Paisley’s
primary responsibility includes performing follow-up client
communication (via e-mail and/ or phone). She does this on a
regular basis to address any questions or concerns that our
clients may have.
Pam’s interest in horses began at an early age, when she
started riding a 16-hand green storage mailbox at the end of her
street. Lessons on the real thing soon followed. She gained equine
experience through Pony Club, showing hunters and equitation,
jogging Standardbred racehorses, and schooling green Thoroughbreds.
Her veterinary career began when she became a technician for Dr.
John Steele in New York.
By
her mid-twenties, Pam had sold her last project horse. She dedicated
the next twenty years of her life to teaching emotionally-disturbed
children. Later, she joined the US Department of Commerce in
New Zealand. Although she constantly felt the urge to get another
horse, it wasn’t until
Pam
and her husband (Glenn) moved back to Kentucky in 1999 that
she finally got the chance. She adopted a 16.2-hand OTTB named “Datscover”,
and the three of them moved to Georgia in September 2002.
Pam
joined The Atlanta Equine Clinic team in the Spring of 2003
where she enjoys the opportunity to talk “horse shop” with
the clients. She’ll likely be calling you!
