  • Which limb or limbs is affected? The right hind (RH) and right front (RF) limbs appear to be affected.

  • Is the lameness weightbearing or nonweightbearing in nature? The RH lameness appears to have both weightbearing and non-weightbearing components. The RF lameness appears to be weightbearing in nature. We should consider the possibility that the RF lameness is REFERRED.

  • Is the gait hypermetric or hypometric? The gait appears to have normal metricity.

  • Are there any distinguishing characteristics to the gait? NO.

This GAIT SIGNATURE is suggestive of RH FETLOCK SYNOVITIS. Diagnosis was confirmed using local perineural anesthesia (nerve blocks). RF lameness was REFERRED (artificial).
